Firstly; directions (please read as we can be tricky to find);

Convent Meadows, The Quay, Christchurch BH23 1BD

 

Once you reach the Quay, turn left after The Old Mill Tea Rooms. Follow the cobbled road to the side of it. This is a popular walking route, so please drive carefully. Head over the bridge and take the road running adjacent to the river on your left. You’ll see gates at the end of this road, and a sign for Elkin’s Boatyard and Club Casita.

The gate should open once you are close, if not, enter code 1936.

SUPS & Kayaks

We have recently partnered with local paddle board company Beachbum to bring you gorgeous SUP’s that you can launch from our private slipways.

If you’ve booked direct with us, you can use these for free!

For all other bookings (Booking.com & Airbnb) the price is:

£10 for dedicated 4 hour slots starting from 8am and finishing at 8pm.

£20 for use all day.

Please bear in mind, that our incredible location comes with some hazards.

We are surrounded by water, so children and pets must be supervised at all times.

The boatyard is operational so please exercise caution around the boats and equipment.

The speed limit on-site is 10mph.

Quiet hours: between 10pm and 8am

Dogs must be kept on leads at all times

Children must always be supervised

Smoking is not permitted in lodges

No drugs or excessive alcohol consumption

Do not enter the water unless using water-sports equipment, and wearing a life-jacket, as the current is very strong

Nacho’s our chonky ginger cat, who you may see around the site. Please be considerate of our beloved pet as well as other pets that you may see around whilst at Club Casita.

Pets must be on leads at all times.

  • Each lodge comes with ample parking for 2 cars, which is an incredible perk for our location, (parking in Christchurch is very limited and can be expensive!).

  • If you are looking for an early check-in, or to leave your car here prior to 3pm, you must contact us first as there may or may not be space for this.

  • Yes, we provide fresh laundered, 100% cotton linen and towels.

  • We have tea bags, sugar, and cafetieres with ground coffee.

  • Each lodge has a key safe located by the front door, the code of which will be sent the morning of your check in date.

  • We are 10 minute walk to the charmingly quaint high-street, through the cobbled streets, and past the Priory, which is a lovely walk at any time of the day.

  • Sometimes we can agree to this, it all depends on how busy we are. Pop us a message to find out if this is possible.

  • Head to the front gate, you'll see a wooden gate to the left just before you exit. This is where the big bins are stored and where you can dispose of your rubbish and recycling.
